The Gigasampler mini-faq

• What sample formats does Gigasampler currently load?
• I have clicks, pops and/or audio residue in my audio when playing back samples. What is wrong?
• Do all AKAI sample libraries load perfectly into Gigasampler?
• Is there a way to fix improper AKAI to Gigasampler sample conversion?
• Are there sample libraries available in native Gigasampler format? Which libraries are available?
• Does Gigasampler support ASIO?
• Can the polyphony of Gigasampler be expanded?

Do all AKAI sample libraries load perfectly into Gigasampler?
Certain AKAI sample libraries do not convert properly with Gigasampler's S-Converter. A few of the libraries that have problems are:

• Kirk Hunter Virtuoso by Ilio
• Miroslav Vitous by Marcati (slight variations in sample programs, fortunately there are Gigasampler versions of Miroslav String Ensembles and Miroslav Woodwind & Brass Ensembles with support for the entire library coming in Spring 2000)
