How
long does it take to burn a CDR?
Depending on the amount of data you are trying to burn,
the time it takes to create a CD can vary. You can burn
a 1x (150kb/sec), which will take a 650mb chunk of data
about 74 minutes to burn. However, most burners will allow
you to burn at at least 2x (300kb/sec, 37 minutes to burn),
while some offer 4x (600kb/sec, 19 minutes to burn) and
even 6x or 8x in professional hardware.
