Can
I convert a MIDIFILE to a WAV file?
In
order to convert a MIDI file to a WAV file, you must record
the midifile digitally. You must take the output of you
sound source (keyboard, synth, sampler etc) and record it
with a digital audio recording program (if you want to easily
have it in WAV format), or, you can go with hardware based
recording systems. The hardware can be pricey, so if you're
on a tight budget, it's best to get a good recording card
and some good audio recording software - that type of setup
does the job quite well for budget studios.
