Review: Cakewalk 5.0 was the first MIDI sequencer on PC I got in touch with. I worked with it a little and then took a look at Steinberg's Cubase/Cubasis things. I disliked them from the first click, I don't know why... However, I purchased Cakewalk 6.0 and then all the updates until now to Version 8.0 Pro Audio. I have never regret it and will use it the next years, too. Better look, better options, better MIDI/Audio sync (the tightest you can get!) makes it to my first choice. I will check out Logic Audio on the Music Fair in Frankfurt this year, but I don't think that it could convince me. :)
